Say how much, by when, what it's for, and what you have — a job, a bank account, a car, a church. In a few seconds you get the options that actually exist for you, from cheapest to most expensive, what each costs in dollars, and what to do first today. No account. Nothing stored.
Free — takes 30 seconds
The amount, the deadline, what it's for, and your situation: a job with a paycheck coming, a bank or credit-union account, a paid-off car, a church or family, any benefits. No judgment — the more you say, the better the list.
Why this exists
For most people there are three or four options cheaper than a 300% APR loan, and two of them cost nothing — but they need a phone call before the deadline, not after. This lists them for your situation, with the real cost of each, and tells you who to call first.
How it works
Amount, deadline, what it's for, what you have. Nothing is saved.
Extensions, programs, credit-union loans, employer advance — with the dollar cost of each, in English or Spanish.
The scripts, the county links and the two-paycheck plan, in the organization version.
Plans
Nobody who needs $450 by Friday should pay for a list of options. The licence is for the credit union, church or nonprofit that wants its own small-loan product and county programs on the page, so its members see the cheap option before the expensive one.
Your PAL or small-dollar loan on the page as option #1, your county's 211 and LIHEAP links, the call scripts, and a members-only version you can link from your app.
For a church benevolence ministry, a community action agency or a worker center that fields 'I need $400 by Friday' every week.
Free for individuals, always. Licence prices in USD, handled by Stripe.
Common questions
Yes — the tool is described as "Free, always," and the material states "No account. Nothing stored." You can type your amount, deadline, and what you have without giving any personal information.
No — the tool lists cheaper, no-borrowing options first, such as calling your utility company for an extension, contacting 211 for rent, utility, or food assistance, or asking a shop about a payment plan, before any loan option appears.
Florida law allows only one payday loan at a time, and rollovers are not allowed here. If you can't repay, you have the right to a 60-day grace period if you complete credit counseling, per Fla. Stat. 560.404(19) — and a credit union Payday Alternative Loan (PAL) can sometimes be used to refinance it.
Florida caps a payday loan at $500, with the fee capped at 10% of the amount plus a $5 verification fee, per Fla. Stat. ch. 560 Part IV (Florida OFR). The tool shows the actual dollar cost of that loan next to cheaper alternatives, like a credit union PAL capped at 28% APR.
The tool is not legal or financial advice — costs shown are approximate, and it doesn't know your whole situation. Confirm any loan's terms in writing before signing, and check that a Florida lender is licensed at flofr.gov; a free NFCC counselor can also review your options by phone.
